How to write an effective paper

 

• Topic: Start with a statement in a clearly defined way

• Thesis: Express your opinion/main idea about the topic.  What can you prove about your opinion?

• You will need a few verifiable reasons to support your opinion

•  Do the reasons flow gracefully from the previous reasons you stated?

• Now, play the devil’s advocate. An opinion that reasonably emphasizes a different viewpoint to yours 

• Conclusion: Refer to your thesis and incorporate your strongest reasons to prove your viewpoint
